Book ProposalThis is an open letter appealing to prospective publishers. For excerpts and a feel for the content in The Stargate Chronicles, please visit the section on Incidents, as well as the other sections of this site, listed at left. To all Publishers and those associated: I have compiled a large list of very exciting, controversial events and assembled them as a book proposal. The majority is still to be completed for publication. My long career ended very abruptly in 1992, when I was given a choice of resigning or accepting permanent release (being fired) from my position as a ScO (SpaceCraft Operator), Space Shuttle Fleet, Shuttle Launch Complex 39 A & B, Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida. I had been working proudly in the United States Space Program off and on for much of my adult life, dedicating myself to assisting the human race in the exploration of space. At this time, I had also accepted a position as Director of MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) for the launch base, and was teamed with several members of this world renowned UFO investigations organization to collect and analyze the various UFO related incidents associated with the space center and missions flown into space. Our unit kept our functions low-key to avoid conflict with our assignments at KSC. During this period, I also served for two years as the Florida State Assistant Director of MUFON. This position was assigned to me by Walter H. Andrus, Jr., who created the organization in 1967 and has provided excellent leadership. My dismissal from the base came suddenly and was a shocking revelation to me. I had hopes of continuing my career for as long as my advancing age would be tolerated, reaching the usual age of retirement at 65. I literally loved my job functions in this exciting field of science. Few people look forward to going to work each day, but I had loved it. Later, it would be "leaked" to me that one of my lecture flyers, which had been used many years before, had reached certain management hands. They realized it was "pro" for the existence of UFOs, and it did not follow the official party line "that they do not exist". Apparently, and in my belief, this lead to my release in a dishonorable fashion. They said the reason was due to a nondisclosure of minor data on my original job application. Later, I proved that the data had been legally added to the form. In my opinion, they were looking for anything to get me off the base. Why? My book will provide the answers and realization. During the years since I first set foot on Cape Canaveral in 1958, I had been involved in collecting data concerning UFOs for the now-defunct National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP), headquarters in Washington, DC. Retired Marine Colonel, Donald E. Keyhoe, was the International Director of NICAP at the time. He realized that a NICAP unit at Cape Canaveral would be very beneficial to the organization's goal of forcing the federal government to recognize the UFO phenomenon as a possible threat to earth — or, at least, to consider them a power and advanced technology unmatched by any nation on earth at that time. The logical conclusion was that these strange craft were in fact from outer space. An alien culture was actually visiting our skies, and we could place no defense against them to assure the safety of earth, if the UFOs and beings behind them proved hostile. My NICAP unit functioned very efficiently throughout the early days of the Cold War missile-build-up between the USA and the Soviet Union. It continued to provide certain data directly to Major Keyhoe, allowing him to understand many if not all the UFO sightings being made over and near the base, especially those observed by our early Mercury, Gemini and Apollo Astronauts. The information I compiled is very impressive and perhaps startling to some. Much will be regarded as new and fresh to the UFO community. I am certain the earth is being visited by several alien cultures. The evidence is too overwhelming to assume otherwise. My book will Chronicle all the important events involved with astronaut sightings of unknown and unidentified objects, flying or otherwise. The Kennedy Space Center is the port for launching our intelligence into the universe, intelligence that will someday lead to an inevitable contact with the "Other Intelligences" who explore stellar realms. The two launch bases I was so intimately involved with for most of my life can rightfully be called the Stargate to the great mysteries we as a human race will encounter. Flying near Jupiter or out beyond our wildest dreams, flitting among the stars of the great Constellation of Orion, the Big Dipper or the beautiful Pleiades. Out there, will we find the Romulans or Klingons? Whatever our future may hold, it is certain that more events will go down as Stargate Chronicles in our expanding history as a race of cosmic explorers. The Stargate Chronicles will be popular in the significant book purchasing marketplace, combining and stimulating the interests of UFOlogists, new age enthusiasts and those who enjoy reading science fact and fiction. Star Trek and Star Wars fans will love it. The general public will show a large degree of curious and investigative interest. The Stargate Chronicles will provide a true cosmic adventure that will fill every void of the curious reader's mind, and be as compelling as the fiction Tom Clancy has successfully provided in the spy-novel/action/adventure genre. Few readers will be able to put it down or part with their astonishment once they begin to discover what has actually happened in space. As the truth regarding UFOs draws near, this book will claim its rightful place as a truly inspired and well documented work. Its revelations will sweep the adventurous and curious readers into a cosmic reality and take them on a whirlwind tour of all I have uncovered. The book should leave them feeling as if they just experienced the real X-Files while being taken for a ride on a comet's tail. Please address all inquiries to my e-mail box and I will respond as soon as can. Sincerely, |
